• Steve Aldstadt, President of S.C.O.P.E. was given the floor and he spoke to those in attendance
• Chautauqua County S.C.O.P.E. is a committee, it will be one year before it becomes and official chapter
• Events:
o June 11, 2013 to return to Albany at 9:00 am
o Make appointments to see Andy Goodell and Cathy Young while in Albany on the 11th
o Speakers not locked in yet
• Lawsuits: three have been filed and a fourth is pending
o Jim Tressman: facing stalling tactics
o NRA’s suit: facing stalling tactics
o S.C.O.P.E. suit over 7 rounds: equal protection under the law
• Beginning March 15, 2014 to purchase ammunition, you will ask State Police for ammo by gun and bullet
• Elections:
o In the last election, 5,000,000 votes were cast in 2010
o 7,500,000 votes were cast in 2012
o 6,000,000 gun owners in New York State
o We can un-elect anybody
o Remember next November
o 1,000,000 pistol permits in New York State
o With numbers comes power to effect politicians
