Regarding the SAFE Act”
1) Banned rifles based on cosmetic features
2) Illegal to give rifle to own children (descendants cannot inherit)
3) Requires law abiding owner to signup and register
Simple premise that criminals will follow the law
Premise that rifles are causing indiscriminate deaths

Tom Reed Campaign “Super Saturday”

Here is what we have going on:
“Super Saturday,” Sept. 6th, volunteers from Chautauqua County will be going door-to-door in Jamestown and making phone bank calls, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., to help the Tom Reed campaign. Our office is located at 19 E. Third Street in Jamestown.
Both the phone calls and the door-to-door surveys benefit not only Tom, but will be shared with the Rob Astorino campaign and the NYGOP for use by the whole slate of Republicans running this November, so your help is critical.

Any volunteers interested in helping should contact me via email or phone number listed below, so I can schedule and get volunteer accounts set up on the computers.

Thanks for your help!

Daniel Swanson
Western Field Representative
19 E. Third Street
Jamestown, NY 14701

Call to Action to support a local citizen

One of our citizens was targeted by some in Chautauqua County Law Enforcement. (Names will not be included.) To the best of our knowledge this is a brief description of what occurred earlier this year.

This citizen is a over the road truck driver who drives back and forth all over these United States and has a clean record.

He left work in Ripley and headed for home in Westfield. About half way home a Sheriff’s vehicle started to follow him. Part of the way the vehicle followed so closely its headlights were blinding in the citizens mirrors. The Deputy later alleged that the truck driver crossed the “fog line” (white line on the outside edge of the road) six times (so when is that illegal?).

The Deputy ran the plate number and saw that the citizen had a pistol permit valid in New York State (and valid permits for many other states). The Deputy followed the citizen until they got to the center of Westfield when the Deputy and two Westfield Officers stopped him. This is when it started to get real ugly. In full sight of some locals it was hands up and out the window, they tried to pull him from the vehicle while seatbelted and injured him.

Resisting arrest when they would not let him unbuckle his seatbelt? They wanted his gun which was not on his person. They wanted his pistol permit (in his wallet on the dash, which they couldn’t find because they were too busy slamming the citizen to the ground and injuring him again).

Somewhere during this heated exchange an off-duty Deputy pulled up in his personal vehicle and made threats to the citizen and shoved his Glock pistol under the citizens chin.

What the hell is wrong with our Sheriff’s Department that it employs such a loose cannon? Rumor has it that this Deputy had problems before he came here.

A trial was at Eason Hall in Westfield. The District Attorney’s Office wanted our citizen to plead guilty to a slightly less charge. No deal. Next stop is County Court on Monday, July 28, 2014. This citizen is well thought of by many in the community.

Please be there early to attend and show your support.

The citizen was lied about by the Sheriff’s Deputies and the Westfield Police. Now he has points on his drivers license and has since lost his pistol permit and has been told to turn in any and all guns for forfeiture.

Please come and show your support for this citizen before it happens to you.

Will update this as better information comes in.

Dunkirk Fair (day 7 of 7)

We will be at the Dunkirk Fair every day during the fair.

Will have a booth in the Conservation Building.
Will have signs, bumper stickers, membership material, literature packages, hats, t-shirts, and much more.

Please stop and talk with us.

We want a different Governor in Albany after the November elections.

We prefer a Governor who understands and adheres to the Constitution and not some “SAFE ACT” baloney.

Same for all his State Senators and State Assemblymen minions who voted for it !!!
